Since 1999, Rob Vanovermeire has been representing buyers & sellers of all kinds of property including starter homes, condos, commercial properties, & luxury Homes. Rob is a full time resident in Canmore and also owns revenue property in Calgary. He is an avid skier and mountain biker and is very involved in the community. We came to Rob after having a not so pleasant experience with a different Realtor. We had been trying to sell our home for a year and were having no results. Rob gave us a some very realistic expectations and was able to sell our home for us in a very reasonable time. We are now selling again and decided to use Rob and his team once more and have been extremely happy thus far with the transparency and communication that they offer. We will continue to use them in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone who is selling or buying.
Rob was excellent. He really made the effort to learn what I liked and didn't like as we looked around properties, so that when the right property did finally come on the market he knew to contact me and we were one of the first to see it. Too many Realtors leave this to keyword filters and lack that personal touch. Since the sale he has kept in contact and he will be the Realtor I go to when buying or selling in the Calgary/Canmore area.
I found Rob to be very adept at handling negotiations with other Realtors and their clients. He did an excellent job of staying in contact with the prospective buyer even when we didn't accept their first offer. A couple of weeks later he was able to negotiate them to a better offer that was acceptable to us and he did a good job of closing the deal in a timely fashion. Rob was polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and great at moving things along but never being pushy. He had the right balance of advice mixed with tact. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family, and will definitely use his Real Estate service on my next purchase or sale.
